MedWorks is a volunteer program of the 501C3 nonprofit organization, MobileMed 1.  We are committed to delivering free healthcare to Ohio’s uninsured and underinsured population.  Volunteer doctors, dentists, eye specialists, general healthcare providers and support workers donate their time to help provide free healthcare services for their community. Our Sponsors and Partners donate Medical supplies, equipment and facilities for the MedWorks health Brigades.

On Saturday, February 25th, 2012, MedWorks will host our first free medical clinic of 2012.  The event will take place at our new home at 6511 Fleet Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.  We will be providing free general medical exams.  All are welcome.  Appointments will be taken through the WKYC phone bank to be scheduled in February.  [...]

Glasses that were chosen at the July 20th Vision Clinic are being sent out to be fabricated.  Please expect at least a six week delay.  MedWorks will call or send out a letter to each patient explaining when and where to pick them up.  We will post further information as we are updated.

Volunteer eye specialists perform thorough eye exams including glaucoma screenings in an effort to determine if there are eye conditions or diseases that need further attention.
