Is this program for all interested parties or are there guidelines and/or restrictions such as income guidelines or certain vision problems?
The Vision Clinic on July 20th will run from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. It is first come, first served so we recommend that you arrive in the morning, or before 2 p.m.
what are the hours of operation for the clinic?
Each patient in need of glasses will receive a free pair. These glasses will be made on site the day of the event as well as at different locations throughout Ohio and distributed to patients following the event. We do suggest arriving earlier in the day as it is first come, first served.
WHAT IF YOUR EYES ARE REALLY BAD AND DO U STILL GET THE GLASSES THAT DAY
MedWorks provides care to those who find themselves in need regardless of their income level, citizenship or geographic residence. That said, we do ask that those who have other options for care, please reserve this clinic for those most in need. MedWorks does not request to see any type of documentation or identification either. The vision clinic will provide an eye exam and one pair of glasses per person, ages 18 and older. We are actually not taking appointments for this clinic and it is first come, first served on the day of the event so we do suggest arriving earlier in the day. Will this vision clinic be just for the exam or will it include glasses/contacs and do we need to sign up ahead of time. Also, what are the qualifications? Thank you.

One pair of glasses will be provided per person in standard plastic lenses in either single vision, or lined bifocal. The examination is comprehensive, but dilation will only be performed if it is absolutely essential.
